Saturation Diving Events & Beta Waves
Live event calendar, double-credit windows, and seasonal drops — everything that is not part of the standard dive loop.
Events and beta waves are how Saturation Diving keeps the live economy moving between patches. Some waves double your credits, others unlock a new zone, and a few drop limited-run cosmetics that never return. This page is the events calendar, reward tracker, and strategy guide rolled into one. Bookmark it: events run on the developer’s Discord schedule and usually last 5 to 14 days, so timing matters.
How Events Work
An event in Saturation Diving is a server-flagged window where one or more of the following are active simultaneously:
- Credit multipliers — every ore you sell counts for 1.5x, 2x, or 3x credits.
- Cosmetic drops — limited-run skins, helmets, and submarine paint jobs that never return after the wave ends.
- Zone unlocks — a temporary entrance to a hadal or sub-hadal zone that is normally gated by progression.
- New entity encounters — bosses or hunters that spawn during the event window and drop unique loot.
- Free codes — the developer usually pairs the wave with at least one code (see the Codes page for the live list).
Events are announced on the developer’s Discord #events channel about 48 hours before they go live. The announcement always includes the wave name, the exact start/end timestamps (UTC), the multipliers, the cosmetics, and the gating requirement if any. We mirror every announcement here within minutes of release.

How To Prepare For An Event
- Watch the Discord
#eventschannel 48 hours ahead of an announced wave. The wiki mirrors announcements the same minute they drop. - Bank credits before any wave that includes a beta wipe. Wipes happen about once every 4 to 6 months; the wiki flags them 48 hours in advance.
- Stack your role with the event bonus. Credit multiplier events pair with Captain (15% squad bonus) for the best credit-per-dive. Cosmetic events pair with Salvager because cosmetics are usually locked behind salvage crates.
- Save token inventory — boost tokens stack with multipliers during events, so hoarding them for waves is worth the slot cost.
- Plan a private server for the first 24 hours of any wave to skip the queue and farm cosmetics that other divers will grind for a week.
Event Timing & Cadence
- Mini events (cosmetic-only, 3-7 days) happen every 4-6 weeks between major patches.
- Major waves (multiplier + cosmetics + new content) happen every 8-10 weeks.
- Beta wipes happen roughly once per quarter, usually paired with a new zone or hadal unlock.
The wiki tracks the cadence on the Patch History page so you can plan credits and inventory 4-6 weeks ahead.
What To Do If You Missed An Event
Most cosmetic drops return in some form — usually via the next year’s anniversary wave. Credit multiplier events never repeat; if you missed the 2x window, you missed it. Beta wipes are non-negotiable: if a wipe happens, your credits and gear reset regardless of whether you joined the event. The wiki always archives the Expired Codes so you can see which rewards you missed and what to expect in the next wave.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How often does Saturation Diving run events?
Cosmetic mini-events land every 4 to 6 weeks. Major waves with credit multipliers and new content land every 8 to 10 weeks. The cadence is irregular, so watch the Discord #events channel.
Do event cosmetics ever return?
Most return during the next year's anniversary wave. Some exclusive cosmetics (the Pumpkin Helmet from the first Halloween run, for example) have never returned. We track return windows on the wiki within a week of the announcement.
Should I farm credits during the 2x event?
Yes — stack the 2x with Captain's 15% squad bonus and a private server, and you can hit 8k credits per Twilight Reef run. Save the haul for a Cryo Helix Tank or a Triton Mark VII suit.
Are event rewards tradable?
No. Event cosmetics and rewards are account-bound. The wiki flags this on every event entry so you do not waste time looking for a trade market.
What happens if a beta wipe happens during an event?
The wipe still happens. Credits reset regardless of how recently you earned them. Bank pre-wipe, spend post-wipe. The wiki flags every announced wipe 48 hours in advance so you have time to prepare.
