Saturation Diving Monster Logs & Bestiary

Three live awards sit on the log system. Here is how they differ.

Last updated:

Saturation Diving Monster Logs

Saturation Diving ships a monster log bestiary. We know that because Roblox badges name it in plain language. This is not a fan wiki inventing a Pokédex. The live awards are:

  • AntiquitiesCollect a monster log. First pickup.
  • The CollectorCollect all monster logs. Full set.
  • We lost a hero that day.Collect and play the Mysterious Log in Crash Plateau. A named log in a named zone, with an extra play step.

Antiquities — The First Page

Most divers earn Antiquities without a guide. A log drops or sits in a wreck, you interact, the badge fires. If it does not fire, you looted a flavour note instead of a monster log. The server is picky. Stay on the prompt until the collect animation finishes; beta UI sometimes looks done while the grant is still in flight.

Antiquities is common (tens of thousands of grants). It is a breadcrumb, not a flex.

The Collector — The Full Set

The Collector wants all monster logs. The API does not publish the count. The wiki will not invent “there are twelve.” What we can say:

  • You need every log the live build considers part of the set.
  • New logs can ship in a content patch (27 August 2026 already moved the place). A Collector grant from last week can go incomplete if a new page is added — watch updates.
  • Grimreefs are a named kill target (Simply Better) and almost certainly have a log page. Killing two grimreefs in one level is a combat badge; collecting their log is a different action.

Hunt logs while you still have oxygen to leave. A Collector run that dies on the last page still counts the pages you already stored — unlike dive-length badges, logs persist on the account.

Mysterious Log — Crash Plateau

This is the lore badge. Official text: collect and play the Mysterious Log in Crash Plateau. Three requirements.

  1. You are in Crash Plateau, the crash-site zone confirmed by badge text. See crash sites.
  2. You collect the log. Having it in a locker from another zone is not enough if the grant checks location.
  3. You play it. Same lesson as the Music Box: possession is not use.

The title We lost a hero that day. is the developer’s flavour. Do not confuse it with a player-report of a deleted friend. It is an award name.

How Logs Sit Next to Combat

GoalDo this
First logPick up any monster log
Full bestiaryCollect every log in the live set
Crash Plateau storyCollect and play the Mysterious Log there
HunterKill any monster
Hunter KillerTen kills in one run
Simply BetterTwo grimreefs in one level

You can be a Collector without being a Hunter Killer. You can fail Simply Better and still finish logs. Split the grind: one session for pages, one session for kills, unless your squad is already doing both.

Public servers are noisy. Fifty players can vacuum a spawn. Hop lobbies. Official VIP is off, so hopping is the only quiet-server tool you have. The co-op page covers how friends stay in the same instance.

The video in the middle of this article is live gameplay with entities on-screen. Use it to recognise when a corpse, wreck, or terminal is worth a second look for a log prompt.

  • Badges — award counts and order.
  • Entities — grimreefs and kill windows.
  • Dive levels — do not hunt Collector on a dying Mastercraft attempt.
  • Trello — a future board may list log locations; until then, this page and the badge text are the source.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many monster logs are there?

Roblox does not publish the count. The Collector requires all of them in the live set. The wiki will not invent a number.

Is the Mysterious Log part of The Collector?

It is a separate badge with a play step in Crash Plateau. It may also count as a log page; complete both actions to be safe.

Do logs reset on a wipe?

Badges do not reset. Whether the in-game bestiary UI resets is a beta question — reclear any missing pages after a wipe.

Can I collect logs on mobile?

Yes. Hold the interact control until the collect finishes. See the [mobile](/guides/mobile/) guide if prompts feel sticky.
