Saturation Diving Dive Levels & Rounds

The live badge text is the clock: one dive, three, six, eleven, fifteen.

Saturation Diving Dive Levels

Saturation Diving is not a single open ocean you wander until the tank dies. The live Roblox badges describe a levelled dive: you complete a first extraction, then string levels (the API also says rounds at eleven) inside the same run. This guide is the map of that clock. Pair it with Getting Started for lobby basics and with How to Survive for oxygen.

The official strings, copied from the badge API on 23 August 2026:

BadgeOfficial conditionWhy it matters
Primitive DiverComplete your first diveTutorial finish. High award rate.
Ramshackle DiverThree levels in one diveFirst stamina wall.
Apprentice DiverSix levels in a single diveSanguinite and monster density both rise.
Journeyman DiverEleven rounds in a single diveSame clock, different word. Rare.
Mastercraft DiverFifteen levels in a single diveEnd of the published dive-length ladder.

What a “Level” Is in Practice

A level is a segment of one continuous dive, not a separate Roblox place. You do not return to the browser between three and six. You stay down, keep the squad alive, and clear the next pipe / hole / crash pocket the game feeds you. Blacking out, abandoning the sub, or wiping the run resets the counter for that attempt. Gear and pearls can persist; the in-dive level count does not.

Eleven uses the word rounds. Do not overthink it. The wiki treats rounds as the same progress axis as levels until The_BucketHead publishes a distinct round type. If a future patch splits them, this table will split too.

Pacing a Long Dive

Levels 1–3. Learn the mine-and-surface loop. Primitive Diver fires when you actually complete a dive, not when you spawn. Ramshackle is the first time you must refuse a greedy extra pipe. Public servers hold up to 50 players and do not offer official VIP instances — pick a quieter lobby by hopping, not by buying a private server that does not exist.

Levels 4–6. Apprentice is the Sanguinite gate. The badge Dig dig dig to the center of the earth! asks you to clear the entire map of Sanguinite past level six. You cannot finish that chore if you never reach six. Read Sanguinite before you dump inventory on common ore.

Levels 7–11. Journeyman is where most squads die of oxygen math, not of a named boss. Keep six upgrades in mind for Tactical Gear. Grimreefs start to matter if you want Simply Better in a single level.

Levels 12–15. Mastercraft is a planned run. Crash Plateau’s Mysterious Log is a side objective, not a reason to stretch a dying tank. Surface with the badge rather than gambling a fifteenth level on a music-box hunt.

The walkthrough video in the middle of this page is a full Roblox run. Pause it when the diver changes depth band and match that moment to the table above.

Failure States That Reset the Clock

  • Oxygen blackout before extraction.
  • Squad wipe to a monster pack (Hunter Killer is a different badge — ten kills in one run, not one level).
  • Leaving the experience. Roblox does not pause a saturation dive for dinner.

What does not reset the dive-length badges you already own: a later wipe of credits. Primitive Diver stays on your profile even if the beta resets the economy.

Squad Habits That Add Levels

The four community roles — Captain, Engineer, Spotter, Salvager — still describe how people actually split work even when the UI is light on class names. One player watches the tank, one keeps the drill on pipes, one calls threats, one loots. That split is how you reach six and eleven without everyone sprinting. See team comps and co-op.

Mobile divers should not try Mastercraft on a first evening. The mobile guide covers touch oxygen tells that PC players never mention.

  • Badges — full fifteen-award list.
  • Upgrades — six active upgrades for Tactical Gear.
  • Crash sites — Crash Plateau sits on this same dive, not on a separate ladder.
  • Updates — 23 August badge drop, 27 August platform update.

If the next content patch adds a sixteenth level or a named round type, the wiki will extend this table from official text, not from guesswork.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Are levels the same as rounds?

The live badges use both words. Until the developer splits them, treat eleven rounds as the same dive clock as the other level awards.

Does dying in a level keep earlier badges?

Badges you already earned stay. The in-progress level count for that dive resets if the run ends.

Can I farm levels in a private server?

Official VIP servers are disabled. Use public lobbies (max 50) and hop if the server is chaotic.

When should I hunt Sanguinite?

After you can hold past level six. The clear-the-map badge is gated on that depth, not on the first pipe you see.
